Enabling Javascript (Internet Explorer)

  1. Open Internet Explorer.

  2. On the Tools menu, choose Internet Options...

  3. In the Internet Properties dialog box, click the Security tab.
    Select the Internet zone, and click the Custom Level... button (see below).

  4. The Security Settings dialog box will open.
    Scroll down until the options until you see Active Scripting. Click on Enable (see below).
    Note: Scripts are usually safe to run. You can disable Javascript at any time by disabling Active Scripting.

  5. Click the OK button on the Security Settings dialog box.

  6. Click the OK button on the Internet Properties dialog box.

  7. You have just enabled Javascript in Internet Explorer.
    Go to the page where Javascript was required. From the View menu, choose Refresh.

Enabling Javascript (Netscape)

  1. Open Netscape.

  2. On the Edit menu, choose Preferences...

  3. Under category, click on Advanced.

  4. Select the Enable Javascript checkbox.
    Note: Scripts are usually safe to run. You can disable Javascript at any time by unchecking Enable Javascript.

  5. Click the OK button.

  6. You have enabled Javascript in Netscape. Refresh the page that required Javascript.
